Introduction how much power for a Meadows grist mill
Aug 08, 2008 · At this time my brother and I are trying to get a Meadows grist mill that belonged to our grandad up and running. We hope to be able to mount it on a small trailer and power it with a 6 hp hit and miss engine. We have a lead on a 6hp engine and not sure that is enough for a 16 inch stone mill.

There is a trace of red paint which to me indies it wasn''t built by Williams as their mills were yellow. As you can tell from the picture
